Accounts and Subscriptions

Paid subscriptions may be handled through Stripe. Alabama Scanner does not store full card numbers on its own servers. Stripe may process payment details, billing information, transaction records, and related payment data according to Stripe's own privacy and security practices.

Google Analytics and Logs

Alabama Scanner uses Google Analytics on public pages to understand anonymous usage patterns, improve page layout, diagnose traffic changes, and learn which public tools are useful. Analytics is not intended for admin pages, login, account pages, private overlays, or submission flows.

Google Analytics may collect information such as pages visited, approximate time of visit, browser and device details, referring pages, coarse location derived from network information, and interaction data. Alabama Scanner does not send names, scanner transcript text, exact private addresses, account passwords, or submitted photo content to Google Analytics.

Where consent is required, Google Analytics loads only after you choose Accept Analytics. If you choose Decline Analytics, analytics storage remains denied through Google Consent Mode and the Google Analytics script is not loaded for that browser.

Advertising

Alabama Scanner may show advertising on pages with useful written content. Advertising partners, including Google, may use cookies or similar technologies to serve, personalize, and measure ads. Ads should not be placed above the live players or on thin utility pages such as login, registration, payment, error, or player-only screens.

Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, mobile advertising identifiers, browser identifiers, IP address, device information, pages visited, approximate location derived from network information, and interaction data to deliver ads, limit repeated ad views, detect invalid traffic, measure ad performance, and improve ad relevance.

Where Ads Should Not Appear

Alabama Scanner does not intend to place ads on login, registration, account, admin, submission, payment, redirect, private overlay, or thin utility pages. Ads also should not interfere with scanner controls, forms, maps, alert controls, or navigation.
